The game is played is played with different sets of tiles and dices. The dices depict themes of different seasons. Winter mahjong is one of them where the tiles carry a winter theme.

The dices can be made of woods, bones, plastics or cards. These tiles are divided into three categories and all of these have dots, lines or characters. The tiles are arranged such a way that they look like a deck of cards and every set of tiles carries four set dotted dices each having 9 tiles.

The remaining two sets also have the same arrangements. We often see some special tiles like the honor tiles which carries 3 sets of dragon tiles and each of them their respective color.

The games can be played on the internet. Now one may wonder what to do with all these bundles of cards? Well, the main objective of the game is to remove all the tiles present at the area, you can do so by clicking on similar two tiles but the condition is that the tiles has to be free.

You can not move the dices from the middle of the stack. Combination of any season tiles with other is also possible. For the beginners, they have to deal with 13 tiles first. From then on every winning hand would require a total of 14 cards.
